43. Car show in Albuquerque,New Mexico. As we arrived in Albuquerque we managed to locate a motel near the freeway. We pulled in and saw the a car show was being held by the Owl Cafe adjacent to the motel. I took Ann and Becky to check into the motel and drove back to show the Barracuda in the car show.

16. This four-lane section of old Route 66 was built through Glenrio and on into New Mexico before Interstate 40 bypassed the area a little to the north. This section continues into New Mexico and reconnects to I40 a few miles later. I had heard that it was gravel, so I didn't go that way.

1. We went over to Interstate 40 to see the Cadillac Ranch. It was originally located on old Route 66, but was moved here because for the additional traffic.
